Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata means "Iron way". It originated in the Italian Dolomites during the first world war and the soldiers equipped the walls and chimneys with cables and ladders to gain strategic positions.

Nowadays, certain cliffs have been equipped with modern materials, and one can experience the vertical world without being an experienced climber and in complete safety.
